March 19 Coffee Tag

We found this beautiful hand-thrown pottery mug at the gift shop in the mini mall at Fort Riley. I absolutely love it. The Kansas state flower is the Sunflower. I didn't know that until this last trip to Kansas.

Shopping with Rose....We stopped in at one of my favorite haunts in Castle Rock. The Barn has several little specialty shops. I love to go there every so often and see some pretty things. Rose found some lovely things to put in her home. It was a good afternoon!

Driving

We were on our way to D.I. A. when I snapped this photo. The mood in the truck was tense and heavy. He was on his way back to Iraq.

Upon checking in, we learned his flight had been rescheduled for the next day. Whew! One more day.....

"Have A Heart"

Those who know me, know I LOVE a good thrift store haunt. On one of my haunts, I picked up a sweet little heart shaped muffin pan. It's a lot of fun baking blueberries in the shape of hearts. I swear to you: The muffins taste so much better when they come out of this pan!
