Summer EscapeThe boys complained that they were bored. So I loaded up all the supplies we needed for a picnic and headed into Denver and spread out our red, white and blue quilts in City Park downtown Denver. We munched on lunch from Kentucky Fried Chicken and played catch, had a silly string fight, blew bubbles and just enjoyed each other's company. We walked to the lake, but had to leave because an afternoon thunderstorm blew in wreaked havoc! It was a great afternoon.
